First trade edition, ca. 1918-1919.The first limited edition of Robert Walser’s Gedichte was published in 1909 in an edition of 300 numbered and signed copies, with the etchings printed from the plates. In this edition, the original sixteen etchings by the author’s brother, Karl Walser, are reproduced.
