Rare, with two detailed engravings, this brochure advertises Excelsior Spring Water of Saratoga, available bottled or on draught. The illustrations show a bird’s-eye view of Excelsior Spring and Park and a view of the Excelsior Spring pavilion. Various doctors and professors claim the water cures dyspepsia, heartburn, headache, constipation, and other ailments. A fine example of nineteenth-century ephemeral job printing. Unlisted in OCLC, which records two similar items issued by C. W. Lawrence, not this example advertising proprietor Frank W. Lawrence.
