Volume One, Number One. All-published? Inaugural issue of this 1920s student publication from the Maryland Institute presenting “various and sundry articles, editorials, and drawings, and designs cut from linoleum blocks by the perpetrators thereof.” These perpetrators included Larry Murphy, who designed the cover, and the illustrators “Despeaux, Storther and Rodda” with cartoons by “Robinson.” The staff page listed Edgar Levy as Editor-in-Chief and W. W. Cooper as Assistant Editor. Business Managers were Calvin Hoke and Elizabeth Thomas. Art Editors were Larry Rodda and Mary Reid. Literary Editors included Tillie Meyer and Margaret Witters. Columnists were Edna Mason, Ethel Turlington, and Walter Bohannon. Charles Robinson served as the Staff Cartoonist. The Musical Editor was B. Koplowitz, and the Open Forum Editor was Elizabeth Meyer.

Notable alumni of the Maryland Institute College of Art include Jeff Koons, David Byrne, Abbi Jacobson, Amy Sherald, and Elaine Hamilton-O’Neal.
