Programs for two week-long Chautauqua gatherings held in Dover, Delaware, part of the national adult education and cultural circuit organized by the Swarthmore Chautauqua.

Highlights from the 1920 program include performances by the Suannee River Quartet and the Russian Cathedral Choir, along with a lecture by Crawford Vaughan, former premier of South Australia. The 1922 program featured lectures such as “Lord Dunsany the Myth-Maker,” a dramatic reading of Sir James M. Barrie’s The Twelve-Pound Look, and a concert by the Dixie Jubilee Singers.
