Charitable appeal calling for the establishment of a Children’s Home Society in Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The proposal is made here by the Children’s Home Society in New Jersey, who call for an expansion of their own mission and by the establishment of an independent Delaware organization. The Society was not a home or institution but rather “an agency for placing homeless children in Christian families.” A map on the back cover of the brochure shows the locations of 123 of the New Jersey Society’s wards in Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
