A printed, single-sheet program from September 23, 1891, detailing a four-race card at a Delaware racetrack. The front lists trotting and pacing heats, owners, purses, and event specifics under the title “Programme of To-Day’s Races.”

The verso list advertisements including: Stud services of “Benefaction” (bred by Leland Stanford in California) advertised by George A. Millington (Dover); The Elkton Stock Farm (Elkton) advertises its stallion, “New York Dictator” for breeding; George W. Baker (Dover), specializing in glass feed, horse clothing, lap robes, fur robes, blankets; Marcus’ Temple of Fashion (Dover) promoting millinery and ready-made fall & winter garments; J. Frank Allee’s Reliable Jewelry Store (Dover); J. H. Fleming (Leipsic), selling butcher bone phosphate; Jno. P. Donahoe (Wilmington) sells Rochester Beer & Massey’s Brown Stouts; R. A. Black (Dover) General Contractor & Builder; and finally, The Piedmont Land & Improvement Co. (Piedmont, Alabama - Delaware’s Southern City) markets iron, timber, and cotton with cheap labor and materials.

A notice at the bottom announces the Great Inter-State Fair scheduled in Trenton, New Jersey (September 28, 29, 30, and October 1 & 2, 1891).
