Amendments to General Election Law 1918. [cover title]


A revision of Delaware’s General Election Law of 1917, respecting “the regulation of nomination and election expenses,” to which is added a second act of 1918 updating the code to the needs of the First World War. This second legislative act specified provisions “for the appointment…of a number of Auxiliary Registrars for the purpose of Registering Delaware Boys in the Military Service, for Election Purposes.” Around 10,000 Delawareans served in the armed forces during the First World War including many abroad.
