Counter-Revolutionary Agent. [Diary of the Events Which Occurred in Cuba Between January and July 1961. [Bay of Pigs Invasion]

First edition, first impression. Publisher’s review copy of this illustrated “diary of the events which occurred in Cuba between January and July 1961.” The author positions himself as one of the leaders of the ill-fated CIA-sponsored brigade to oust, without success, Fidel Castro from power: “‘El Suizo’ by which name Mr. Tanner is known and hunted by the Cuban secret police, fearlessly gives this true account of actual happenings which constitute a further chapter to the history of this strife-torn island.”  Surprisingly scarce and published the year following the failed Bay of Pigs invasion.
