Ex Libris Mikhail Verkholantsev – Ėkslibrisy Mikhaila Verkholant︠s︡eva. (Signed and limited edition)

First Edition, signed and limited, one of 2,000 copies of ex libris prints by Soviet graphic artist Mikhail Verkholantsev, published in Moscow in 1976. Trained at the Moscow Higher Institute of Industrial Art, Verkholantsev (b. 1937) was internationally recognized for his bookplate designs, which appeared in exhibitions across the USSR and abroad in Japan, Hungary, Belgium, and elsewhere from the 1960s onward. Profusely illustrated, the album reproduces Verkholantsev’s original ex libris designs, some in color. Edited by G. I. Kuibysheva and an introduction in Russian, French, German, and English by Yevgeny Minayev.
