First American edition of this two-volume tale by the English author Charlotte M. Yonge (1823–1901) that chronicles the activities, and the extensive travels, of the Dynevor family. Scene are set in Ormersfield and Northwold; Paris during the 1848 revolution; Peru and Panama, and elsewhere. Both volumes are tight, sound, and clean.
