Rare circa 1870s advertising card. The firm of Roecker and Soper was made up of Albert Roecker and M.H. Soper. The duo bought, sold, and leased lands in Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Arkansas and Texas from their “Office in David’s Block—- Up Stairs.” The back of the card shows a township map of lots that were presumably for sale in Oregon, Missouri. Oregon County was created and named in 1845 during the Oregon Territory dispute at that time.
