Engraving by [Alexander?] Anderson (“Anderson S.”) of a bust portrait of Benjamin Franklin shown wearing his fur cap and with a bolt of lightning in the sky behind him. The image is based on the medallion by Jean Bapitste Nini (1717–1786), a commission he received from Jacques Donatien Le Ray de Chaumont (1726-1803) in whose house at Passy Franklin lived.
