Oval bust portrait of Franklin wearing his signature fur coat and facing left, set in a larger rectangular box. “The great ‘Fur Collar’ portrait was repeatedly copied, both for the likeness of Franklin and as the chef d’oeuvre of a master portraitist.” (Sellers)
