The proverbial novel written by a committee. A Romance of Bar—U Ranch has 16 chapters, each written by a different student in the senior class of Excelsior High School, in or near Schenectady. This is primarily a tale of events at a cattle ranch somewhere in the American West (pp3–18).  Events takes a more romantic turn as the characters travel back east to New York City and on to London and Europe. After an attempt to sail home by submarine(!), the hero returns to New York, back to his beloved (pp19–24). No copies in OCLC.
