Black College Sport.
—
Written by a Black American, an extensive treatment of the history of male African Americans playing baseball, football, running and so forth, whether in All-Black leagues or on racially-integrated teams, etc. Interestingly, the author exclusively dedicates his short 1-page Foreword to explaining why Black female athletes are not discussed within. He concludes that a book devoted to these women remains to be written.
