Following Abraham Lincoln 1809–1865. [Inscribed by Author]

First Edition of this illustrated biography of Abraham Lincoln, here compiling reproductions of several hundred etchings by Bernhardt Wall (1872–1956) of “Lincoln” landmark buildings throughout the United States. Wall, known as the “Postcard King,” was noted for his patriotic WWI and western themed cards. Wall’s copperplate “Lincoln” etchings were originally published in an 85-volume series published over the span of 11 years. This copy of the one-volume compilation is nicely inscribed and signed by Wall in Sierra Madre, California.
