A scarce and well-illustrated promotional guidebook for Fredericksburg. The rear map is notable for identifying various local landmarks: “Rising Sun Tavern, Mary Washington Hospital, Negro School, Old Masonic Cemetery,” etc.
OCLC returns a 1912 edition. This 1911 edition appears to be its unrecorded first edition although the publisher did issue in 1906 Fredericksburg in War Times. Map and Auto Route of the Battlefields…. The latter title was only in 20 pages, the present example has 32 pages.
