A Book of Photos from the Land Where Dreams Come True. Fruitland Park Florida [cover title].
Scarce Florida land development booklet promoting agricultural investments in fruit growing and poultry and cattle farming in Fruitland Park, Lake County, Florida.
Readers are invited to request map, prices and terms from the Lake County Land Owners’ Association who tout the area’s soil, drainage, and good roads, schools, and other infrastructure: “Living is inexpensive. Lumber reasonable, building economical. No blizzards or coal bills. Manufactured ice plentiful and reasonable. You can have a garden the year round.”
Illustrations show typical residences, flourishing fruit groves, lake views, and harvesting and field scenes, plus the yacht club on Lake Weir and the Fruitland Park Casino and Tennis Courts.
OCLC, three copies of a similar title, but not this variant. The example held by UCF has a copyright statement (this example does not) and there are modest textual and visual distinctions as well.
