Solal. (First American Edition)
—
Scarce first American edition of the first novel written by this Jewish Swiss novelist who wrote in French. Solal (Solal of the Solals) is part of a loosely-connected fiction quartet of novels, the others are Nailcruncher (Mangeclous), Her Lover (Belle du Seigneur) and Les Valeureux. The third book in the series is cited in Le Monde’s 100 Books of the Century.
