The Tysons came over with Daniel Pastorius and first settled in Germantown, near Philadelphia, later moving into Maryland in the 18th century. Related family names include Amos, Perin, Randall, Hopkins, Mitchell, Janney, Knight, and Crownover. Includes an 8-page general account of the family.
