Sutherland of the First Vermont Cavalry (signed twice); G.N. Bridgwater of the 15th Massachusetts Volunteers; S.B. Brock of Company B, 25th O. Volunteer Infantry; A Union Captain C. Elder; Sam Hay, “Army of Potomac”; A member of the [Hugh] Kilpatrick Brigade; Frank Foster, “Marine Barracks.”
Others who wrote in the album include Jennie’s female friends and her Cousin Edward Brodie Glasgow, at Yale in 1863. He writes the class motto in Greek beneath his autograph. Brodie wrote A History of the Class of 1863.
