First edition and inscribed by Rockwell. Survey of the architectural, theatrical, and commercial design work of David Rockwell (b.1956) and his New York-based Rockwell Group. Among the architectural/design projects examined are the Ames Hotel in Boston; The Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco; Nobu Fifty Seven restaurant in New York City and the Nobu Hotel in Las Vegas; the Shinola retail store in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood; the JetBlue terminal at JFK International Airport; and the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center in New York.
Other design projects include the 81st and 82nd Academy Awards; celebrity chef Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Truck; and the stage and scenery designs for the musical Kinky Boots (Chicago) and the Broadway shows The Normal Heart, A Free Man of Color, and Legally Blonde.
