Auction catalog of 377 items from the “Latta Collection” of old Philadelphia prints, maps, engravings, and original sketches. Thomas L. Latta’s collection included such rarities as Lieutenant W. Elliott’s aquatint of the Battle of “Mud Fort” in the Delaware River; an original painting by Thomas Birch of the Fairmount Water Works; the unfinished plate of the signing of the Declaration of Independence by Edward Savage; and the unfinished plate of the State House (Independence Hall) by John Lewis Krimmel.
