Anniversary Address delivered before the Alumni Association of the Western University of Pennsylvania. [now the University of Pittsburgh]


Speech by Western Pennsylvania University graduate, Joseph Reynolds Kerr (1807–1843)—Class of 1826, delivered to his fellow alumni. Now a Presbyterian minister, Rev. Kerr was an 1830 graduate of the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He was the son of Irish immigrant, Rev. Joseph Kerr, D.D. (1778–1829), one of the first professors at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
