Two academic catalogues for Amenia Seminary founded in 1835 in Ameniaville (now Amenia), Dutchess County, New York. The co-educational Methodist school was an outgrowth of a class organized by clergyman and abolitionist Freeborn Garrettson (1752–1827). With lists of students and their home cities, a description of the Female Department, and the “By-Laws of Amenia Seminary.” Price stated is for both titles.
