Three 1876 Centennial speeches given by Philadelphia attorney Benjamin H. Brewster; in front of Independence Hall, in Independence Square, and one at the Judges’ Hall of the Centennial Buildings. Brewster would later serve as attorney general of Pennsylvania and, from 1881 to 1885, as U.S. Attorney General under President Arthur.
