C.H. Stoelting Co. had previously been manufacturers of apparatuses and supplies for physics, chemistry, botany, bacteriology, astronomy, and agriculture. The subsequently became pioneers in making equipment etc. for two groups of scientists, psychologists and physiologists & pharmacologists, to which groups this trade catalog aimed.

Models, charts, lantern slides, books, and periodicals were available for studying and evaluating both divisions, psychology and physiology & pharmacology.
