[1934 Document Signed by Sigrid Undset,  Nobel Literature Laureate, giving Her Power of Attorney].


Document signed by Norwegian novelist Sigrid Undset (1882–1949), winner of the 1928 Nobel Prize for literature. Undset is best known for her trilogy Kristin Lavransdatter, a work of historical fiction centered around the life of one Norwegian woman from birth to death, published from 1920 to 1922. Undset was awarded her Nobel “...principally for her powerful descriptions of Northern life during the Middle Ages.”¹ Here Undset gives her power of attorney for billing and tax advice to Dr. Ferdinand Kahn of Munich.
