Publicity card for the Black women’s vocal trio of Victoria Wallace, Valerie Holiday, and Helen Scott who performed as The Three Degrees. The card, which is signed by all three women—each writing the name of the group as “3º” beneath her name, dates to c. 1989 when Wallace joined the group and they released their studio album ...And Holding on the Ichiban label. Printed legends in the bottom margin note Ichiban Records Ltd. in England and the group’s management, The Charles Smiley Organization of Los Angeles.

The Three Degrees was formed as an all-female vocal group around 1963 in Philadelphia. Their line up has varied over the years with long-time members Valerie Holiday and Helen Scott remaining in the current line up.
