[C.1914–1960s, Large Collection of Florida Travel Ephemera].

Large collection over just over 125 items of vintage Florida travel ephemera, mostly for the Atlantic coastal cities, but with some items in central and western Florida and the Florida Keys. Cities include St. Augustine, Daytona Beach, Miami, Boca Raton, Silver Springs, Sebring, Orlando, and Sarasota.

Colorful brochures, schedules, postcards, car window decals, and maps comprise the majority of the collection. The bi-and multi-fold brochures promote various hotels, beaches, tropical gardens, museums, pleasure cruises, etc. and such emblematic Florida attractions as golf resorts, greyhound racing, and alligator farms. Highlights include a 1914 Map of Florida issued by the Florida East Coast Railway (Flagler System) and the c.1920 Florida Automobile Road Book (Vol. I). The condition of the collection is worth noting.
