Two programs for the 48th and 49th anniversaries of the Star Social Club, a private African American organization in West Chester, Chester County Pennsylvania.

The World War II-era programs featured remarks from various black and white community leaders including Lincoln University (Chester County, Pennsylvania HBCU) alumnus, Dr. Charles A. Lewis; Dr. Walter Livingston Wright, President of Lincoln University; and Harlem Renaissance poet and playwright, Dr. Leslie Pinckney Hill, President of Cheyney Teachers College, now Cheyney University (HBCU).

Interestingly, the menus for the two years are almost identical, possibly reflecting war-time limited food availabilities.
