Set of 16 postcards, reproduced from photographs, showing exterior and interior views of the Masonic Homes complex in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The retirement and nursing home is known today as Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania. The postcards depict the front view of the main building, a Greek-revival memorial, an large outdoor pavilion, and various support buildings and facilities. Four interior views show the combination large dining hall/Grand Lodge Hall, men’s and women’ sitting rooms, and an Assembly Hall. Three postcards show the groundbreaking, cornerstone laying, and dedication of the Masonic Homes which occurred in 1910, 1911, and 1913, respectively.

Housed in a contemporary mailing envelope postmarked August 26, 1914 and bearing the handwritten legend “Post cards of the Masonic Home, Elizabethtown, Pa.” Fine with crisp corners.
