Illustrated program for the second annual Fall Classic, a national 250-mile championship automobile race held at Altoona Speedway in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, a 1¼-mile “board track,” a racing course surfaced with wooden planks. The program contains portraits, capsule career biographies, and commentaries on the race car drivers including 1922 Indianapolis 500 winner Jimmy Murphy who was killed in another race just two weeks later. Program with numerous ads for automobiles, motorcycles, gasoline, tires, and other automotive services.
