Rare, unrecorded 1921 Program for a benefit musical performance in aid of The Charlotte Cushman Club, Inc. held at at Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Theatre. The Charlotte Cushman Club was established in 1907 as a boarding house for actresses by Lydia Ellicott Morris. This program includes a list of club officers and patronesses. With President’s report discussing the women’s club’s new headquarters and rooms at 1010 Spruce Street. The cover illustration shows actress sisters Charlotte and Susan Cushman in their famous title roles from Romeo and Juliet. Not in OCLC which reports one holding for a 1915 Report, but not this item.
