Autographed early printing of this African-American author’s first book of poetry. Color was published shortly after Countee Cullen was accepted into Harvard’s masters program. Cullen was considered one of the most notable voices of the Harlem Renaissance; his writings appealing to both black and white readerships. [Metzger, Black Writers]
