Beacon Hill and the Carol Singers.

Scarce of-the-period Christmas keepsake with strong wood engravings

Christmas in Boston. This small press book presents approximately six full-page or vignette-styled wood engravings. All support the Christmas theme of the text.

Once, Christmas was outlawed in Boston, the author reminds the reader who then goes on to extol the beauty of Beacon Hill at Christmastime and the caroling and festivities that surround the merriest of times in New England Massachusetts.
